Ever wondered why there are some things you just can’t stop or change even though you might know how. No matter how hard you try, you just fall into the same automatic patterns of behaving, thinking and feeling. Even if you do manage to stop or make the changes yourself, you just can’t seem to sustain it. Or you can’t find the motivation to even try, and if you could, you wouldn’t even know what you to do.
This is because your unconscious/subconscious thoughts and behaviours aren't aligned with your conscious thoughts and desires. Hypnotherapy is used as a tool to align these two parts of your mind to facilitate your desired outcome.
Hypnosis, simply put, is a state of acute concentration, heightened intelligence and enhanced awareness. Hypnosis is a very safe and secure process whereby you are facilitated and gently guided into a calmer place, a different level of brainwave activity called Alpha or Theta state. It’s very safe, secure and is reported as being very enjoyable and relaxing.
You are fully aware at all times, you are in complete control at all times, you can hear everything that’s going on around you, you can open your eyes at any time but you will probably feel so nice that you probably won’t want to. Upon comfortably reaching Alpha/Theta state, your unconscious/subconscious mind becomes hyper alert, highly focused because your conscious mind isn’t getting in the way or distracting you.
This is when your mind is most highly susceptible to taking on a new mind set or blueprint. Your new blueprint will be become automatically one of a non-smoker or someone who eats really healthily and enjoys it or someone who is more calm, less stressed or anxious etc.
